Amanda James has been my live-in caregiver for the past two months. She is a conscientious worker who anticipates my needs and efficiently fills them. Mandy is dedicated to helping others; she really cares! Not only is she an efficient caregiver, but she is a cheerful companion with a great sense of humor. I am grateful to Mandy and praise her highly for the excellent care I received while she was with me.

As I'm sure is true for many families who call upon Excel for caregiving assistance, our need was sudden and unexpected. My 95 year-old mother returned to her apartment in a continuing care community after several weeks of hospitalization and rehabilitation. On the recommendation of the rehabilitation center, we contacted you for what we expected to be a few days of round-the-clock supervision. But my mother's mental state continued to worsen and her doctor suggested hospice care. The ongoing challenge was that she hardly slept at night and therefore could not be left by herself. You were instrumental in providing last minute care for this problematic situation, by placing Maydelena with us. She is a smart, energetic, and wonderful woman who became part of our family and managed hospice visits and the many confusing turns during this harrowing period.
